Double-click the ” RES ” button (located on the rear panel). Overall, this is quite challenging, especially for identical twins. Due to their nearly identical genes, identical twins look very similar, which can lead to potential misidentification of facial recognition, especially at a distance. Furthermore, in the mobile phone industry, facial recognition modules can struggle to distinguish between twins within a range of 0.5 meters. Twins are relatively rare and typically occur within family members, posing a relatively small security threat to users. If security concerns persist, it is recommended to enable two-factor authentication, simultaneously verifying facial features and another unlocking method, such as a fingerprint or passcode.
Two-factor authentication, also known as security mode, can be enabled or disabled in Admin Mode via voice prompts. With two-factor authentication enabled, the door lock requires two registered unlocking methods for access, such as fingerprint + password, password + card, fingerprint + card, password + facial recognition, etc. To activate two-factor authentication, the user must register at least two or more different unlocking methods.
A dummy password, also known as a “peep code,” allows users to add multiple numbers before and after the correct password. The middle digits ensure a continuous and correct password, confusing others and preventing them from verifying the true, correct password.
The information provided below is based on internal testing. Actual battery life may be shorter depending on factors such as product usage frequency and network connection stability. Bluetooth and standalone locks : Approximately 10 months using 4 AA alkaline batteries. WiFi lock : Approximately 6 months using 4 AA alkaline batteries. Facial recognition lock : Approximately 10 months using 8 AA alkaline batteries. Video lock without screen : Approximately 3 months using 1 lithium polymer battery. Video lock with screen : Approximately 2 months using 1 lithium polymer battery.
(1) Wipe the door lock surface regularly with a clean, soft cloth to ensure it remains clean and shiny for a long time. Avoid using water, alcohol, or corrosive chemicals to clean the door lock surface to avoid damage or corrosion.
(2) Do not mix alkaline batteries of different brands or use old and new batteries at the same time. Check the batteries regularly for oxidation. If any oxidation is found, replace them immediately to prevent battery leakage and corrosion of the internal lock structure.
